Polis Basın Subaylığından yapılan yazılı açıklamaya göre, Boğazköy bölgesinde yoğun kar yağışı nedeniyle, Girne-Lefkoşa ana yolunun St. Hilarion Kavşağı ile Girne'deki Sevgi Çemberi arasındaki yol trafik akışına kapatıldı.
Ayrıca Lefkoşa'daki Alevkayası-Karaağaç yolunun kar yağışı ve buzlanma nedeniyle trafiğe kapatıldığı belirtildi.
KKTC'li çok sayıda vatandaşın, ülkede etkili olan kar yağışıyla ilgili sosyal medyada paylaşım yaptığı görüldü.
